One of our favorite Mexican food restaurants when visiting South Park! Happy Hour 5-7pm, with a great selection of tasty menu items to choose from.

My sister took me here for the first time recently, and I was very impressed. Awesome decor, delicious sweet potato flautas, and can't complain about reasonably priced pitchers of sangria. We'll definitely be back!

Gotta give it to you guys, you did a fantastic job with the decor inside the restaurant. I love the name, I love the lighting inside, it's awesome! The food is delicious!! Everything I've tried (All Burrito's, Enchiladas, Chile Relleno) are sooooo good!
Pricing is average, specially when your odering drink after drink too ;). Will kill for the salsa and chips reciepe.

Loved the Tijuana Caesar with Chipoodle spice. Mmmm. Fairly priced, too. Decor rocks, Dia de los Muertos stylie. Great staff too.

" All show and No go!" Yelp, what a pity. I was really looking forward to dining at this establishment due to the hip latino decor. The decor and layout of the place is a quick run down of mexican/latino history and cultre. But the food was not so rich in flavor as the decor of the restaurant.. The dishes are not authentic at all..bland rice and generic black beans accompny many of their dishes and the portions are not very big. You would think for the price you pay it would be somewhat of a good sized portion..NOT. If you want to impress your new found friends that recently relocated to San Diego and have no idea what mexican food is " O.M.G. a Burrito is like a wrap"or sit there and pose while you have a beer to impress yourself that you are soooo hispanic/latino hip kisch. Well then this place is for you. But sorry "A.S.A.N.G." is your rating or as they say " NO BUENO".

When I lived in Little Italy I tried to go to the El Camino there twice and the attitude was way too snotty for me. However, the South Park location is much more laid back.
Yes, it's more expensive but it's also not trying to be cheap mexican food -- if you want that there's a place down the street. They're also not trying to authentic -- they have mac n cheese nachos for heaven's sake. I've had the taco salad (fantastic!) and corn quesadilla (yummy). The salsa and chips are out of this world.
Happy hour (5-7PM) was freaking fantastic -- $3 Sangrias and half price quesadillas and tacos.
Service was great. My water glass was never empty.
