I seriously LOVE this place!!! I've eaten here during lunch, dinner and at 4 a.m. in the morning after partying it up in LA a few times. I have never had anything bad here. My absolute favorite is "After School Special" which is a grilled cheese and tomato soup.... to die for!!!!! Once my cousin and I killed with a waffle sundae dessert. Let's just say, we'd died at that moment. At night/1 a.m. - 4 a.m. they have a DJ spinning and it keeps the fun going. I know some people complain about the service and it's been okay each time I've gone. It is something K24 can focus on a bit more.

This is our late night obsession/indulgence! Parking is a breeze with valet right outside the restaurant. It's easily convenient with 24 hour seating. Drinks are usually pretty stiff and the mac n cheese is to die for. If you have any time for dessert, the cupcakes are great late night snack. The breakfast is definitely something to return for (love the yogurt parfait). Their only true downfall is the service. We've been there 10-12 times and we've gotten good service twice.

maybe i just come here when the time is right?... not at 2am when the bars just closed. and every drunkard near k24 is stumbling towards grease and hot food. c'mon.
usually i go during weekend brunch or random dinner times. i've never been disappointed by my food. the afterschool special= YUM. anything on the breakfast menu=AMAZING. [mediterranean tofu scramble, garden benedict, bottomless bloody and mimosas on saturday brunch, sweet potato fries, etc] as far as service goes, they've always been good. great at times. 10 of us decided to have dinner there randomly. seating was weird. but service was good. everyone got the right food and drinks.

so yes i've been pretty happy with kitchen 24 with every visit. never disappointed. the prices are typical. the drinks are a little pricey but it's hollywood.

my minus 1 star?
1- my dirty glass... but maybe someone decided to kiss my glass with last night's red lipstick before it reached the table.
2-stop trying to seat me in that middle area. space issues.

those are tedious reasons really. i love kitchen 24. they're evil smac n' cheese... that melts in my mouth. creepy people that stare into the mirrors. grilled cheese i can't stop eating.

My friend invited me to this place for a Sunday at six. I thought it would be a good idea to read the reviews and see if there was a menu item that everyone was raving about. I was confused by all of the mixed reviews; they all seemed to be either really positive or really negative. After going there for myself, this is what I think.

So I was expecting to see a candy counter at the entrance because of how everyone was excited over the cupcakes and sour belts.  It's really just a display case near the register with sweets in it. I didn't see the big deal. Also the bar is rather small, though I didn't actually get to try the drinks. The décor is cute. That's really the only word I can think of to describe it, but it's not overly girly.

The stories about the bad service are not true. If you want a waitress who will exchange life stories with you, this is not the place. But they were efficient and polite, and that's enough for me. The menu barely had anything on it, so me and my friends all just got burgers, which have a lot of possible additions. The burgers were good, big, nothing special. I didn't like that they didn't ask how we wanted our meat, they cooked it rare. Two of the six people I was with got sick from them and it wasn't pretty. Those odds do not work for me. The fries that were supposedly delicious were not at all. The regular seasoned fries barely had any flavor and were crunchy. The sweet potato fries had a good texture but were also lacking in flavor. And the flavor soda was also equally bland. So I don't regret going, but I just wasn't impressed and I won't be going back when there are way better burger places

We stopped by here for Happy Hour after watching a show at the Pantages. Great selection of appetizers and drinks. The wings were incredible, better than most wing places I have been to. The bartender was friendly, accomadated us at the bar to make sure we could partake in the Happy Hour specials. The decor is that of a diner's kitchen, very chic. The restrooms were well kept and the prices were reasonable (Los Angeles) prices.

Maybe it's because I only come here when I'm drunk at 2AM but I don't get all the five star reviews. Kitchen 24 is basically a hip Denny's with a full bar and obnoxious music. The food is mediocre and the service is sub par, but at least they're open late.

Leslie's F.A.S.T. Review = Food + Ambiance + Service + Tips

Food = This trendy restaurant is open 24 hours (hence the nick name K 24)--a rarity in Hollywood.  Go HERE for Breakfast or Late Night Hangover food.  It's all about the "Garden Eggs Benedict"--the grilled caramelized onions and ripe avocados are to die for.  There are also cupcakes featured for every day of the week--my personal fave is the Banana Split cupcake.

Ambiance = Architecturally trendy with a hipster vibe; white leather upholstery seating with pink and brown as the main colors of the waiter apparel; awesome "silver utensil" lighting; amazing bar on a wall that stretches from floor to ceiling.

Service = The waiters are abnormally good looking...a plus for us ladies ;) They're also very timely, respectful, and youthful.

Tips = Again, it's open 24 hours which is GREAT if you've just stepped out of the Hotel Café lounge/bar across the street or finished watching a movie at Arclight only three blocks away along Sunset Blvd.  There is valet and metered parking located along Cahuenga Blvd, but there is also a parking lot along Selma shared with Big Wangs where you can park for around $7 depending on the night.
